The Advent of the Killer

Dodong later heard on the radio that there is a storm approaching. Everyone seems to be scared that time. All of them, most especially Nana Miranda and Gerta are finding ways to escape but Eloisa didn't allow them to leave since all of them are suspects including herself. Eloisa suspected Gabby, who is carrying a gun but he defended himself that it is for their protection. Rigo tries to snatch the gun but he was hit by Gabby. After that confrontation, an anonymous person hit Gabby whom Eloisa suspected as the real killer. Jessie, together with Alex, hide in the room, where Amanda shows up to them. Amanda, who feels lonely at that moment, wants to take Jessie with her. In the meanwhile, Nana Miranda, Dodong & Gerta has separated their own ways. Nana Miranda remains to stay outside of the house knowing that Junjun will arrive to fetch her. Dodong meets a police mobile where he asks for help but the police suspected him as a drug addict and he was detained in jail. Gerta, who is asking for help, is the one who meets the real killer. Gerta is still able to contact Eloisa but even before saying something, she was killed by the killer. Gabby is able to wake-up and he recalls that the one who hit him is Junjun, who they now suspected as the killer. Junjun defended himself that he's just afraid Gabby might hurt Eloisa with his gun. After having a conversation with Gerta, Eloisa revealed to them that Junjun is not the killer.

After The Death of Amanda

The Expectations of Eloisa

During the burial of Amanda, Eloisa expects Rigo to be on her side and to sympathize with her. The problem is, Rigo never shows his presence and never had a communication with her at all. In the meanwhile, Vicky would still do anything to catch the attention of Rigo. On Eloisa’s way, she saw both Rigo and Vicky kissing. Eloisa becomes angry for what she saw and so she decides to return back the ring which Rigo gave him. Rigo blames Vicky for what happened. The attention of Rigo suddenly focused again on Vicky who plans to attempt suicide. The mother of Rigo revealed to him that Vicky’s suicide attempt is not real and it is planned by his sister Rebecca. After that revelation, Rigo went back again to Eloisa and ask for forgiveness.

Atty. Guevarra, The Next Suspect ?

Gabby was informed by the police colonel that it was Atty. Guevarra who faked the DNA report and so they suspected him as the killer. Eloisa and Jessie were both invited by Atty. Guevarra, who takes them in his house. They are having fun when Gabby calls them and warns them to be careful of Atty. Guevarra.

The Real Job of Junjun

Junjun later fetches his lola Miranda, who is surprised to see his new house. Nana Miranda later discovers guns secretly hidden in the room of Junjun, who forces to reveal that he is working in a syndicate. Because of this revelation, Nana Miranda decides to leave him and return back to Eloisa.

The Death of Atty. Guevarra

Eloisa and Gabby pass by the house of Atty. Guevarra, where they are surprised that he is already dead. Because of what they saw, they did not suspected Atty. Guevarra anymore as the killer.

Nana Miranda, The Killer?

Nana Miranda returned back again to Eloisa after what she discovered about Junjun. Nana Miranda dreamt of someone killing her which frightened her a lot. Later, Nana Miranda is having some strange actions which made them suspect her as the killer. Nana Miranda is serving them dinner which they didn't want to eat, having thoughts that the foods she is serving has poison.

Amanda, The Fourth Crime Suspect

Amanda's Fall & Vengeance

Amanda becomes now the suspect and Almira’s killer. She was tied up in her room and through the help of Jessie, she tries to escape but Eloisa stops her. They even had an argument until Amanda accidentally bumps the candle of the altar which causes fire in the mansion. Eloisa was saved by Junjun. Amanda, on the other hand, had burns and wounds caused by the fire. They now live in another house that was also inherited by Eloisa from her mother Janet. Amanda, who is in the state of unconsciousness, was brought to the hospital. Amanda is still able to escape in the hospital and shows up to Alfie. Alfie have known of Amanda’s plan which he warns Eloisa and Gabby to be careful. Amanda stays in an abandoned house, where she did nothing to cry as she couldn’t be able to accept what happened to her. Amanda thought that Alfie is there to sympathize with her but after contradicting her plans, he hits and ties him up. Amanda also shows up to Jessie, who becomes scared of her face and called her a monster. Amanda becomes angry to what Jessie said and so she took the child with her. Eloisa have known where Amanda is staying. They had an argument again until Amanda accidentally fall down to the ground and died. While falling into the ground, Amanda strongly insisted that she is not the killer and that she would return back to continue her plans of revenging against Eloisa. It is already too late when the police informed Gabby that the DNA report of Atty. Guevarra is an ersatz report and Amanda is not the killer. Eloisa blames herself again and becomes guilty for what happened to Amanda.

Señor Edwin, The Third Crime Suspect

The Missing Evidence

Eloisa, together with the help of Atty. Guevarra want to open again the case of Almira. The problem is they couldn’t open the case again because the content of the evidence box became missing! The police had a record of details of the missing evidence. Eloisa and Atty. Guevarra went to the knife manufacturer and base on the record of its serial number, they founded out that it was Amanda Cardinale who bought it. Atty. Guevarra interrogated a police who revealed that it was Amanda who ordered him to take the knife from the evidence box. According to Señor Edwin, the knife which he used to kill Almira was Amanda’s gift to him. In contrast to what Señor Edwin said, Amanda says that she only gave the knife to him not as a gift. Eloisa became confused in these contradictory statements. Amanda finally reveals that she’s the reason why the knife is missing from the evidence box. But they are all shocked when Señor Edwin points himself as the killer. Amanda now realizes how much her father loves her for what he did.

Señor Edwin Surrenders Himself

Señor Edwin voluntarily surrenders himself to the police. Eloisa keeps on blaming herself that if she didn’t open the case again, this wouldn’t happen to her father, who is now at old age to be detained inside the jail. While Señor Edwin is inside the jail, Almira shows up and asks him why he killed her. Atty. Guevarra had a DNA report stating that the strands of hair founded in Almira’s body matches with Amanda. Upon the arrival of Eloisa and Atty. Guevarra in the jail, they are shocked to see Señor Edwin, who hanged himself.

The New Personality of Junjun

Junjun have known of Señor Edwin’s death through the newspaper. He still plans to return the mansion to fetch his lola Miranda, who becomes scared after Almira showed up to her. Because of fright, Nana Miranda decided to leave the Cardinale mansion and live together with Junjun.

Rhodora's Hidden Character

Gerta, on the other hand, is eager to discover the hidden character of Rhodora which seems to be inscrutable. Nana Miranda reveals to Gerta that since Señora Allona’s death, Rhodora became to be an inconsolable person. Rhodora became faithful and loyal to her Señora Allona, who adopted her since she was a child and treated like her own daughter. Up to this present time, Rhodora still couldn’t accept Allona’s death which is the reason why she’s still mourning and always dresses in black.

The Death of Amanda's Cousin, Mariel

Amanda is burying something into their backyard, where she sees Mariel in a distance crying and bidding goodbye to her. Mariel promises Amanda that she won't reveal their secrets and also asks Amanda to take care of her daughter Alex. During that time, Mariel met a car accident after Janet showed up to her inside the car. After Mariel showed up, Amanda receives a report from the police that her cousin died in a car accident.

Rhodora Leaves The Mansion

Later on, the dog of Rhodora founded another evidence of Almira’s crime which is the ragged & blooded shirt in their backyard. Nana Miranda keeps the evidence but even before giving it to Eloisa it already becomes missing. Gerta have finally founded the diary of Rhodora which she is able to confiscate it and read it. Gerta discovers from the diary that is Rhodora who got Almira’s shirt. Because of this, they suspects Rhodora as the killer of Almira. Rhodora defends herself that she is not the killer of Almira. Rhodora also hates everyone for being so focused in solving Almira’s case and all she wants is justice for her beloved Señora Allona. Amanda then orders Rhodora to leave the mansion.

Feelings of Guilt And Jealousy

Señor Edwin's Feeling of Guilt

Señor Edwin feels guilty on what he did to Allona, his late wife. He recalls that he was the cause for his late wife’s death. After he saw Allona talking with another guy, he accidentally pushed her and fell down deeply into the well. It was only young lady Amanda who witnessed the accident. And because of her love to her father, Amanda revealed to the police that it was only an accident.

Amanda's Feeling of Jealousy

Amanda usually gives Señor Edwin bottles of wine in which Eloisa is not in favor since it is bad for his health. Amanda thought that in this way, he would be able to have her father’s attention. Eloisa asks Señor Edwin to control himself from his drinking habit and he granted her favor which made Amanda to be jealous again of her. Amanda feels that nobody loves her except for Jessie, who always to comforts her and wipes her tears.

Eloisa's Men

After the investigation, Rigo invites Eloisa to go out together in order for her to relax. Rigo brings Eloisa in a yacht where he reveals his true feelings for her. Aside from that, Rigo asks Eloisa’s hand to be his girlfriend in which her response is “yes”.

After Junjun was discharged from the hospital, he looks for a job and later he is hired as a driver. His boss became kind to him and designated him to another job where he could earn bigger salary. But still Junjun becomes more confident now that Amanda would like him to be Eloisa’s girlfriend. Junjun would usually send flowers to Eloisa but he becomes disappointed when he learns that Rigo is now Eloisa’s boyfriend.

Rigo knew even before that Junjun likes Eloisa and they even fight over her. Rigo's mother is happy for his son but not his sister, Rebecca, who is not in favor of El0isa. Rigo's sister had a son, who is mentally ill and she's afraid that they might also have a child like his son. Rigo is also surprised by his ex-girlfriend, Vicky, who would do anything just to catch his attention and to love her back again.

Nana Miranda is also surprised by Junjun, who now dresses formally and drives his own luxury car. Junjun now reconciles with his lola Miranda and wants to take her to live together with him. Nana Miranda refuses to go with Junjun because she still wants to serve the Cardinales. Nana Miranda asks Junjun what is his job but he never replies.

Jessie's Knowledge Of Her Real Parents

Joana often visits the Cardinale mansion to let her boss Amanda sign papers. It is also in the mansion where she is able to meet Jessie who she befriends. There are times Joana would invite Jessie to go out with her until she is able to reveal to the child that her true parents are Galo & Almira.

Jessie informs Amanda on what Joana told her. Amanda then got mad and she still insisted that is Jessie’s real mother. Eloisa, together with Gabby finally reveals Jessie about her true parents like what Joana told her. Jessie feels Amanda doesn’t love her anymore after shouting at her. Amanda becomes unhappy especially now that Jessie knows who her real mother is.

Jessie still feels bad for what Amanda did to her. Because of this, she talks once again to Almira and asks her mother to take her. Almira grants Jessie’s wish and so the child becomes suddenly ill. While she is laid in the hospital, Jessie dreams again of Almira, who introduces her to her real father, Galo. In the dream, Almira also wants to take Jessie with her but Galo says it’s too early to take Jessie’s life. It’s also because of this situation that Gabby becomes kind-hearted to Jessie like he never was before.

After the robbery incident which Amanda reported it to the police, the nurses reported to her that Jessie suddenly became missing. Based from the nurses’ description, she strongly suspected Joana as the one who kidnapped Jessie. Joana then brings Jessie with her and introduces her to her grandmother. Because of the presence of Almira’s ghost which Joana often feels, she decided to return Jessie to the Cardinales. Amanda, together with the policemen, went to Joana’s home and it’s only this time she have known that Joana is the sister of Galo. Joana and Jessie are on their way when the police caught her. Joana is detained in jail and Jessie is returned back home.

Junjun, The Second Crime Suspect

Nana Miranda suddenly discovered the knife which Gabby buried in Almira’s graveyard under Junjun’s bedroom. Because of that evidence, Junjun becomes now the suspected killer.

Junjun is arrested and detained in jail. One night, when Junjun is planning to escape from the jail, a riot among the prisoners exploded. Junjun is not able to escape instead he is shot but he was able to recover. After Junjun was discharged from the hospital, he plans not to return to the mansion since he’s not yet ready to forgive his lola Miranda.

According to the latest report of Atty. Guevarra, not a male could commit the crime because of the lashes of long nails founded in Almira’s body. The suspect now becomes a female and Eloisa scrutinizes the nails of every female living in the mansion. Eloisa has a strong vibration that Amanda is the killer because of her long nails.

Gabby's Secret Evidence

Gabby discovers a knife secretly hidden in an expanding envelope in their office. Joana becomes eager to know the content of that expanding envelope but she was disappointed. Gabby then buries the knife in Almira’s graveyard in the cemetery.

Joana still continues her plans of revenging against Amanda. Joana comes across Atty. Guevarra, the one who would help her in fulfilling her plans. Like Joana, Atty. Guevarra also has plans of revenging against Amanda for breaking up with him. The first of their plans is robbery in Amanda’s office.

Amanda's Troubled Times

Joana, Amanda's Cheerful Accountant

Amanda becomes pressured not only with the investigation but also at work as well. Joana, her accountant, is someone who always cheers her up in the office. Without Amanda’s knowledge, Joana’s kind attitude to her is only an ersatz attitude since she’s planning to revenge against her boss. Amanda never knew that Joana is also the sister of Galo.

Alfie, Amanda's Gay Friend

Amanda is also surprised by the presence of Alfie, his former boyfriend who now turns out to be a gay. Every time Amanda feels low, Alfie is always there to cheer her up. Amanda also jokes on Alfie that he would hire him as a designer for their shop.

The Investigation of Almira's Case By Eloisa & Atty. Guevarra

Eloisa, together with Atty. Guevarra, conducts a preliminary investigation before Almira’s death since everyone in the mansion is a suspect of the crime. Everyone is willing to be interrogated except for Amanda, who seems to have no concern at all.

These are the narrations of the following as to what they were doing or where they were when Almira is killed:

· Gabby- was in the mansion where he was working on something in the computer.
· Señor Edwin was is in the mansion and became helpless that he couldn’t be able to save Almira.
· Junjun – was in a friend’s house which Atty. Guevarra got the address.
· Rhodora – was in the mansion’s garden and talking to Junjun that time (which is in contrast to Junjun’s statement).
· Nana Miranda- was in the mansion terrace, where she saw Junjun that time quarreling with Almira.
· Amanda- was together with Atty. Guevarra that night when Almira was killed.

Based from the narrations, they suspected Junjun as the killer. Junjun recalls that he felt bad that time when Almira said to him that Amanda wouldn’t be able to like her for Eloisa since he’s only a gardener. He also feels bad to his lola Miranda for doing this to him.

After the investigation, Gabby feels the presence of Almira. Eloisa have heard asking Almira for forgiveness and Eloisa suspected him as the killer. Gabby defended himself that he usually argues with Almira but he couldn’t be able to kill her.

Junjun is the only one who they suspects as the killer. Junjun also is able to recall that the reason why he argued with Almira that night is when she said that Amanda wouldn’t be able to like him for Eloisa since he’s only a poor gardener, something made him feel really bad.

Almira's Presence

Gabby & Amanda's Romance

Gabby still couldn’t accept the death Almira. Amanda sympathizes with him until something happened between the two of them. Sooner, Amanda and Gabby got married. There are times Gabby would mention Eloisa’s name which irritated Amanda. There are also times Amanda would catch Gabby glancing over Eloisa but he insists that he wouldn't be able to like her. Gabby also defends himself to Amanda that he wouldn’t be able to like Eloisa because she is Almira's killer.

Jessie's Real Relationship Among Her Parents

Jessie grew up knowing that Amanda & Gabby are her real parents. Gabby never becomes a good father even if Jessie is doing anything to please him. Amanda, on the other hand, becomes a good mother to Jessie, whom she treats like her own child. Gabby & Amanda would usually fight because of Jessie but still he couldn't accept the child as his own. Jessie feels that Gabby doesn't love her at all but not Amanda. She even hired Jessie a “yaya’ named Gerta, who would take care of her when she’s not around. Gerta is a person full of humor but whenever she's scared, she would usually lean to Dodong, their family driver.

Jessie's Mysterious Friend

Gerta would often see Jessie talking alone in the garden. Eloisa befriends Jessie, who believes her because they have something in common which is seeing spirit. Eloisa shows pictures of Almira to Jessie, who reveals that Almira is her friend and someone she’s always talking to. Eloisa argued with Amanda, who doesn’t want to believe this.

Almira's Music Box Heard Again

Everyone in the mansion still feels the presence of Almira, just like the the music coming from the music box even if no one is playing it. Nana Miranda later that it is Junjun who’s playing Almira’s music box which he fixed after Amanda ordered him to burn it.

Alex's Bad Vibrations

Amanda introduces Alex, her cousin Mariel's daughter, who allows her to live in the mansion while studying. Alex, upon entering the mansion, seems to feel bad vibrations inside. Amanda doesn’t want to believe about her vibrations and always pretend to be brave even if she also feels the presence of Almira’s ghost.

Amanda Finally Believes of Ghosts

Amanda is just able to believe until Jessie pointed out Almira’s ghost behind her. Amanda also gets frightened to see that Jessie is playing with Almira’s doll whom she asked Junjun to burn it.

The Help of A Medium

Through the help of Alex and Andrea, who is a medium, Eloisa & Gabby are both eager to communicate with Almira’s spirit. It is in their second session where the medium feels the strong presence of Almira’s angry ghost which made them decide not to continue anymore. Andrea becomes very afraid and seems to have an idea on who is the real killer. The following day, they have learned that Andrea was killed which they suspects as the real killer so as not to reveal the truth.

Mass Offering For The Soul of Almira

Nana Miranda has an idea of offering a mass for Almira’s soul that is crying for help and justice. While the mass is going on, Almira shows up to them angrily and tells them she couldn’t be able to rest in peace just through their prayers. Everyone is scared except for Amanda who bravely faced her. Because of this, Jessie became mad at Almira and told her not to show up again anymore.

Eloisa, The First Crime Suspect

Eloisa, who is behind the cell, always gets frightened because of the incubus she always sees. Because of this, her mental condition is getting worse.

The first one who visited Eloisa is Junjun, who likes her even before, encourages her to be a strong person. Junjun is also studying at the same time that’s why he seldom visits Eloisa but he always promises her that he will come back and won’t left her.

Aside from Junjun, Atty. Guevarra also visits her frequently and even volunteered him self to be his legal counsel. Atty. Guevarra informed Amanda about his willingness in helping Eloisa but she get mad at him. Because of this, Amanda broke up her relationship with Atty. Guevarra.

Because of the worse situation of Eloisa, she then was brought to the mental hospital. It is also in this hospital where she met the handsome Dr. Rigo Bayani, who is very caring and thoughtful to his patients.

Sooner, Eloisa is recovering and even volunteered her self in doing the chores of the hospital. Eloisa thought nobody loves her since no one visits her. Eloisa then is suddenly surprised by Amanda, who discharged her from the hospital and took her back in the mansion.

After Eloisa was discharged, it is reported that not a female could commit the crime because of the heavy stabs found in Almira’s body.

Eloisa thought that Amanda became really kind to her. There were times that Amanda would offer Eloisa something to drink and she even asked her for forgiveness.

Even if Eloisa is now doing well, Rigo always visit her frequently just to check if she’s okay. Amanda seems to be in favor of Rigo to be Eloisa’s boyfriend and even said that they look good together. Junjun, on the other hand, always get jealous of Rigo. Nana Miranda later discovers Eloisa’s pictures in Junjun room, where he reveals his true feelings for Eloisa.

Without the knowledge of Eloisa, the real reason why Amanda is doing these kind deeds to her is to let her sign a contract. It is stated in this contract that she’s allowing Amanda to handle her assets she inherited from her mother Janet. Amanda always forces Eloisa to sign the contract until she accidentally fell down from the stairs. After Eloisa was discharged from the hospital, she decided to sign the contract after Amanda told her that she’s doing this to salvage their family business in trouble. Amanda is suddenly frightened by Janet’s ghost who showed up to her angrily and messed the contract with blood. Gabby took the contract which he torn up and dumped into the garbage.

Eloisa would still dream of Almira who is crying for help and justice. Because of this, Eloisa is having problem again about her mental condition which Amanda doesn’t want her to undergo into medication. Eloisa befriends Jessie but Amanda told her daughter not to talk to her because she’s insane.

It is only Junjun who encourages Eloisa again to become strong. Junjun even told Eloisa she’s a bright person and to study so that she could handle their family business. It seems that Eloisa feels very weak knowing that only Amanda has the authority to handle everything.

The Death of Almira

Almira is unhappy in her relationship with Gabby as they usually quarrel with each other. Almira later on gave birth to a baby girl whom she named Jessie. Gabby didn’t know that the real father of the child is Galo and not him.

Almira always plays the music box which Galo gave him. One night, she was playing the music box while her baby is asleep when someone stabbed her with a knife at the back. Almira died and everyone in the mansion became a suspect of the crime. Eloisa upon waking-up is suddenly screaming because of the blooded knife that is found in her hands. Eloisa then became the first suspect and has to face the punishment of the crime.

After Almira’s burial, Amanda ordered Junjun to burn every thing which Almira uses except for the doll. According Señor Edwin, he doesn’t want the doll to be burned because it was his gift to Almira and he knows how much Almira loved the doll. Again, it is Amanda’s decision is followed and the doll is burned by Junjun.

Amanda then took care of Jessie, Almira’s daughter, whom she adopted and treated like her own child.

The Return of Señor Edwin

Amanda grew up alone since she was a child and the only one who she always gets along with is her cousin and bestfriend, Mariel. While she was a child, her mother Allona would always get jealous of her every time she would comfort her father. Because of that jealousy, Allona brings her husband in America where they lived in a longer period of time.

After several years, her father Señor Edwin went home back but this time with Janet, his second wife. Janet has a daughter named Eloisa from her late husband who died in an accident. In the mansion, they are welcomed by Nana Miranda, Rhodora, the young Junjun, the young Amanda and the young Mariel. Eloisa became frightened upon entering the mansion. Since the biological father of Eloisa died, the young girl always becomes frigthened because of the spirits she always sees. This had resulted her to having mental disorder.

Amanda couldn’t accept Janet to be her second mother. Señor Edwin loves Janet very much and they had a beautiful daughter whom they named Almira. Because of her anger to Janet, Amanda accidentally pushed her in a sharp pointed object in their store room where she died and the only witness is her cousin.

Almira Faces A Problem

Almira has a problem because Amanda wants her to marry Gabby Trajano in order to salvage their family business which is in trouble. Amanda likes Gabby even before but she became disappointed that Almira is the one whom he wants to marry. Señor Edwin argued Amanda about this because he knows that Almira didn’t love Gabby at all. Almira got nothing to do and it is Amanda’s decision that was followed. Gabby and Almira then later got married.

Because of this, Almira asked Eloisa to help her meet Galo. Galo then brought Almira to their small house, where something happened between the two of them. Amanda, on the other hand, petrified Eloisa who was forced to reveal where Almira is. Amanda went to Galo’s house and Almira got nothing to do again but to follow her. Because of this, Almira became angry to Eloisa for revealing to Amanda about this.

Eloisa, suddenly became guilty and so she told Galo to go to the mansion to fetch Almira. Almira & Galo already met at the mansion’s gate. The problem is, Amanda saw them with her two big eyes straight from her bedroom’s window and hurriedly informed Gabby about what she saw. Gabby, who was carrying a gun that time, shoots Galo who died. Almira got nothing to do but to enter again the mansion and Eloisa became frightened again after seeing Galo’s death.

The Love Story of Almira & Galo

'La Vendetta' starts with the love story of Almira & Galo. Galo is a porter who always passes by the village where he met the loveable Almira. There where times he would pose in front of the Cardinale mansion where Almira would return him a loveable smile. Galo didn’t know that Almira begins to like him. At one time, someone tries to snatch something from Almira and it was Galo who came to rescue her like a hero. Because of this, Galo had the courage to reveal his feelings to Almira. Without the knowledge of Amanda, Galo & Almira are into a relationship.

One day, Almira & Galo passes by a thrift shop, where Almira looks intently for the music box in which its background music is her favorite song, ‘P.S. I Love You’. Galo became acquainted how much she loves the music box. There are times Amanda would follow them and Almira got nothing to do but to go with her. Amanda is definitely not in favor of Galo since he is only a porter who belongs to a poor family. Galo loves Almira so much and he would do anything just for her. Through his savings, he surprised her with the music box she desired.
